Unbelievable day on the water today. We started th

Unbelievable day on the water today. We started the day hopeful like we do every time we leave the dock. Knowledge and networking come together to help form a game plan.
We headed out looking for mackerel and after two hours of moving around it wasn’t looking good. We wanted to offer up the striped bass something different than what they’ve been eating but could not produce.
We ended up finding a school of bait fish inshore and nobody else around. Bam fish on 1,2,3,4 hot the deck in less than an hour. That was cool all the fish were no less than 40”
The biggest being 44”
Reeled in by our youngest guest and helped by his dad. The real treat for this morning was the young boy beside himself after reeling in a fish bigger than him, tears of joy rand down his face. One of the best reasons why we do this.
This afternoons trip was a similar affair with non stop striped bass action! Wow what a day

Wow! What a special day yesterday was! My wife @oconnorshana got to take home our amazing baby boy home and our boat the Reel Easy captained by Pat Dugan, and crewed by Scott Coutts and Dan Desmarais took 1st place in the Bluefin Blowout for day one securing the Calcutta and a shot at the big prize fingers crossed for them. Mommy and I are gonna be hanging with our boy cheering them on!
